Services: Individual, couples and family therapy

My approach to treatment is largely psychodynamic and relationship based. A positive therapeutic experience is about feeling validated and heard by your therapist. My style is to be a good listener, but also responsive, so that you know I fully understand what you are sharing. When you feel validated, you feel supported and stronger, which is what moves us to the next stage.

If you are someone who needs more concrete exercises, such as those often employed using cognitive behavioral approaches, I can also provide that. Some people need to feel active or desire more structure in their treatment, so homework might be assigned to meet those needs; homework that fits the issues you want to tackle.

Together we will explore: how you are doing, what your challenges are and where you want to go next in your life. My goal is to create as safe an environment as possible so that you feel free to explore yourself without judgment. Self-acceptance will fuel the growth and the support will help you find balance and strength to take the next step towards your goals.

Fees

I am in-network for those who carry Blue Cross and Blue Shield and bills at the contracted rate. I am is out-of-network for all other insurances but will provide a receipt for reimbursement if requested. PPO’s will reimburse at an out-of-network rate. Fees can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

1 hour assessment is $150.00
45 minute session is $120.00
