The therapeutic relationship is a vehicle for growth and balance with support. Discovering how you operate in the world leads to better relationships and decisions about your future. In a safe and nurturing, therapeutic relationship, you can have the freedom to explore who you are and to repair what is keeping you stuck. Collaboration is a key component to successful treatment, which is why I recognize the necessity to respect your pace and needs during this process. Once you have a better sense of who you are, you will be able to express yourself more genuinely as well as exercise better judgment about relationships and about choices that life presents.

I received my Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University in 1993. For almost two decades, I have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, hospital and private practice. My experience ranges from working with families with young children at risk to working with seniors. I have been a Clinical Supervisor at Highland Park Hospital Eating Disorder Unit and at Insight Psychological Centers treating those with eating disorders, mood disorders and relationship issues. My specialties include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship concerns, divorce and support in the pursuit of self-discovery and self-awareness.
